Due to the changes made by the passing of the SECURE 2.0 Act on December 29, 2022:

• If you were born prior to July 1, 1949, you were required to start receiving distributions by April 1 of the year following the year in where you reached age 70 ½.

• If you were born between July 1, 1949 and December 31, 1950, you were required to start receiving distributions by April 1 of the year following the year in which you reached age 72.
  
  
• If you were born on or after January 1, 1951, you were required to start receiving distributions by April 1 of the year following the year in which you reached age 73.
